Investing in Personal Development

Jeffery Smart Building, University of South Australia

It’s been over a year since I completed my MBA and I secretly miss it. Strangely, I miss the adrenaline rush, the forced readings, group discussions and most of all I miss parking myself in the library. I do realise that I am sounding like a total nerd but the fulfilment and satisfaction I received upon receiving my grades and personal development was all worth it. My growth was immense throughout the 18 months. I was exposed to new concepts and frameworks that allowed me to interpret and form views from different perspectives. I’ve made lifelong friends throughout this journey and I can only say that this is one of the best investment I have made for myself.

I strongly recommend my friends and peers to take up the challenge and invest in doing the MBA. It’s a tough but enriching journey.

I leave you with a quote by Kofi Annan
“Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family.”
